Good Afternoon - Due to the anticipated inclement weather, all three campuses will be closed and move to remote learning tomorrow, Tuesday February 13th, 2024. Thank you.

In anticipation of the impending inclement weather, all campuses will have a delayed start for students tomorrow, January 10th. Classes for all students will begin at 10:15 AM. Staff should use caution but make every attempt to report at regular time.

***Important message regarding our SCHOOL AGED programs only**** Parents and Guardians, The program was recently informed by the New York State Education Department that instructional lunch periods no longer count towards the minimum instructional time required by the state. As a result, the program is required to lengthen the school day, which is currently 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, to six hours daily for both of our school-aged campuses. Effective July 5, 2023, the new school day for all school-aged students will be 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM. The program will communicate this change to your child’s school district for the upcoming school year. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about the change. As always, thank you for entrusting your child to The Westchester School. Padres y tutores, El Departamento de Educación del Estado de Nueva York informó recientemente al programa que los períodos de almuerzo instructivos ya no cuentan para el tiempo mínimo de instrucción requerido por el estado. Como resultado, se requiere que el programa prolongue la jornada escolar, que actualmente es de 9:00 a. m. a 2:30 p. m., a seis horas diarias para nuestras dos escuelas para niños en edad escolar.
