Dear Parent and Guardians,
Recently, Governor Hochul announced that mask mandates would end for schools in New York State effect tomorrow Wednesday March 2nd, 2022.
If your child has worn a mask to school and you wish for that to continue, please share that preference with your child's teacher.
We will continue to have masks available for all who prefer to continue masking.
It will be nice to see smiling faces again!

**IMPORTANT: Regarding Transportation**
Below you will find the new process for submitting an alternate PM request. Please read carefully as the process has been updated and is now effective.
NOTE – the google form is designed so only parents can access not schools (public) Families must Submit New Alternate Afternoon Drop-Off Forms for Curb-to-School Students Families who need an alternate afternoon bus drop-off arrangement for the 2021-22 school year must submit a new request form.

The DOE will not roll over alternate afternoon drop-offs from one school year to the next so families must submit one on a yearly basis. The deadline for busing arrangements to be in place for September 13, is August 3. Submissions after August 3 will be considered for start dates on a rolling basis. As a reminder, schools cannot request alternate drop-off forms on behalf of families and these alternate drop-offs are not guaranteed.

**YONKERS - PARK AVE LOCATION ONLY**
Our Park Avenue location will be on remote instruction tomorrow - Friday, March 26th- due to a positive COVID case which has the potential to have far reaching effects. Please do not come in to work and do not send students to school tomorrow. All students & staff (with no symptoms of COVID or knowledge of exposure from the Department of Health) may return to school / work on Tuesday, April 6th 2021.

Hello. Due to recent snow storm, all Westchester School campuses will extend distance learning through tomorrow, Wednesday February 3rd. School will reopen to in-person learning on Thursday February 4, 2021. Stay safe everyone!
**YONKERS - PARK AVE CAMPUS ONLY**
Our Park Avenue location will remain closed through Friday 1/22 due to a report of another COVID positive individual, in an abundance of caution. All students will remain on distance learning. It is anticipated that the building will re-open on Monday 1/25.
