It's time to get excited! WSSC's school spirit week is starting October 4th 2021!

**IMPORTANT: Regarding Transportation** Below you will find the new process for submitting an alternate PM request. Please read carefully as the process has been updated and is now effective. NOTE – the google form is designed so only parents can access not schools (public) Families must Submit New Alternate Afternoon Drop-Off Forms for Curb-to-School Students Families who need an alternate afternoon bus drop-off arrangement for the 2021-22 school year must submit a new request form. Request Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd8kVtjAspzELkfBm0ULVVFFmHIwFBsoe4KD6Gln-SjaCr8NA/viewform The DOE will not roll over alternate afternoon drop-offs from one school year to the next so families must submit one on a yearly basis. The deadline for busing arrangements to be in place for September 13, is August 3. Submissions after August 3 will be considered for start dates on a rolling basis. As a reminder, schools cannot request alternate drop-off forms on behalf of families and these alternate drop-offs are not guaranteed. Thank You.

**YONKERS - PARK AVE LOCATION ONLY** Our Park Avenue location will be on remote instruction tomorrow - Friday, March 26th- due to a positive COVID case which has the potential to have far reaching effects. Please do not come in to work and do not send students to school tomorrow. All students & staff (with no symptoms of COVID or knowledge of exposure from the Department of Health) may return to school / work on Tuesday, April 6th 2021.

**IMPORTANT - ALL School Locations**

**PRESCHOOL ONLY** The Westchester School's pre-school Trinity St location will remain on distance learning through 2/12/21 due to reports of COVID positive cases. Staff members / students exposed to any of the cases, will be contacted by the Department of Health with further info. PRESCHOOL REOPEN Thurs 2/18

**IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE** Hello. Due to recent snow storm, all Westchester School campuses will extend distance learning through tomorrow, Wednesday February 3rd. School will reopen to in-person learning on Thursday February 4, 2021. Stay safe everyone!

**YONKERS - PARK AVE CAMPUS ONLY** Our Park Avenue location will remain closed through Friday 1/22 due to a report of another COVID positive individual, in an abundance of caution. All students will remain on distance learning. It is anticipated that the building will re-open on Monday 1/25.

**YONKERS - PARK AVE CAMPUS ONLY** Our PARK AVENUE location will be closed from tomorrow, January 8th -through Fri 1/15 due to the report of a COVID positive individual, in an abundance of caution. ALL students will be on distance learning It is anticipated that the building will re-open to in-person learning on Tues 1/19.

**PRESCHOOL ONLY Weather Alert** Due to the predicted snow storm, the preschool program at Trinity Street will be on distance learning tomorrow, December 16th and Thursday December 17th. Reopening Fri 12/18.

**NORTH SALEM Campus ONLY** This is a reminder that our North Salem campus will re-open to in-person instruction on Monday November 30th. We look forward to welcoming everyone back!

**NORTH SALEM Location ONLY** We have received a report of a positive COVID-19 test at the North Salem campus. We will work with the DOH to identify all persons who have come into contact with this person per DOH definitions & time frames. The North Salem location will be CLOSED from 11/16/20 through 11/25/20. ALL students will be on Distance Learning. The building will be deep cleaned. IF your name is provided to the DOH, you may be notified by a contact tracer. Once again- this Alert is ONLY Pertaining to our Staff and Students Located in our NORTH SALEM Location.
